OPI Euro-Mazing!

This has been in my scheduled posts for an absolute eternity and its only now that it has risen to the top of the pile. Quite appropriate really, as I understand there’s some kind of football going on at the moment.

Apparently this is a really old discontinued polish – so much so that I actually have no idea where it came from or how it appeared in my stash.

OPI do a million shimmery red shades. I should know, I own most of them. (which reminds me, perhaps an OPI “red” comparison post might be in order?). However, Euro-Mazing is like none of the others in my collection. It is a coppery toned red, which I have seen described as coral (err, nope) with lots of silver shimmer pieces. I’m not sure how keen I am on the silver glittery bits in all honesty as it does look a bit like air bubbles. Other than that though, it’s a real gleamer and looks fantastic under a layer of topcoat.

It is a tad sheer for me (aren’t they all?) so ordinarily to wear this anywhere other than my toes, I would layer it over a basic red creme. I think you’re seeing about four coats here. God bless OPI’s older and slightly runny jelly consistency.

What do you think? I only really bought this one for the name, and it doesn’t  really get that much air time with me. Would you wear this?

Oh it’s lovely. One of the nicest reds I’ve seen in a while. Different enough to be, um, different.

Discontinued you say? Of course it is x x x
