Love Boo

You know how Johnson & Johnson’s Baby Shampoo is gentle enough for little ones? Well, forget that bold claim because there is so such thing as gentle when it’s filled with sulphates.

Love Boo is a new and natural, family-friendly hair range of skin care and hair care products. They are proudly void of all the nasties and perfect for children and grown-ups alike.

I was sent their Natural Soft & Shiny shampoo and conditioner as well as their Natural No More Knots Detangling Spray to try. While this range is designed with the delicacy of babies and mamas, it’s no reason why this big kid can’t enjoy it too.

Delightfully, the products smell of baby powder with cute packaging and it is very reasonably priced for a sulphate-free range (£8.99 a bottle). Love Boo prides itself on natural ingredients that include argan oil, fig and coconut to cleanse, soften and leave hair manageable, and if you or your little one has a sensitive scalp then this will be right up your street.

If you’re not familiar, sulphate-free shampoos do not lather up – certainly not with the first wash so I always go for round two which isn’t a bad thing since the product is not loaded with chemicals. A common misconception is a shampoo that lathers is properly cleaning your hair when really it’s the bubbles. I also find sulphate-free shampoos and conditioners last longer because you don’t need as much as you think you would.

Parents will love this – not just for their kids but for themselves and looking at the Love Boo website, I do wish I had discovered it sooner as there are some gorgeous things I would have loved to get for my friend’s baby shower a few months ago.
