Last week I attended the launch party for L’Occitane’s UK flagship store. In fact the new store is L’Occitane’s largest store in the world at 6,450 square feet of space and it’s a spectacular sight. There are two spacious floors to explore, taking the customer on a multi-sensory journey to experience the textures, fragrances and sounds of Provence.
Of course you can pick up your favourite L’Occitane products here but there are also exclusives to Regent Street, a gift-wrapping service and the chance to get a fragrance bottle engraved in store. It’s not just for Christmas, it’s all year round. There is a chance to have a hand massage using L’Occitane’s hand creams at the Hand and Arm Massage Bar, with treatments accompanied by a complimentary macaron as part of the company’s collaboration with pastry chef Pierre Herme.
Customers can also relax at the flagship’s Pierre Herme café, selling macarons, tea, coffee and cake whilst looking down on the bustle of Regent Street. The first boutique opened on Regent Street 20 years ago so it’s fitting for L’Occitane to set up shop here.
If you’re passing by on Regent Street, you’ll find L’Occitane at number 74, close to the Piccadilly Circus end.
