The other day I showed you a slightly strange 2 True polish. Here’s another one. In the bottle, it has so much promise and is precisely the shade of coral that I tend to start craving at this time of year. However, on the nail, it is distinctly… average.
It’s a strange one, 2True. I’ve said a million times that I have all the time in the world for the tall skinny quick dry creme polishes – seriously, if you haven’t tried them, you’re missing out, but these ones in the shorter, more cylindrical bottles are seriously hit and miss.
The formula is much thinner and it takes forever to build any kind of opacity on them. I find myself constantly disappointed (well, as disappointed as you can be when something costs £5 for three!) and generally relegate these bottles for use on my toes where visible nail line isn’t such of an issue.
It’s a shame really as this one is rather pretty. I like the silver fleck in it and I can only think that if a rival more expensive brand brought this out that we would all be cooing over it. I like the colour and the finish so perhaps I might keep this one for layering purposes.
What do you think?
