Last week 17 invited a group of beauty bloggers to an eyeliner master-class hosted by celebrity make-up artist and 17 brand ambassador Vanesa Guallar on how to create a number of different looks using the Eyeliner Studio Collection.
Among the products Vanessa used was 17’s Lacquer Liquid Liner. Liquid eyeliners take me back to when I first started wearing make-up. It was the first eyeliner product I started off using before moving onto felt-tip, pencil and gel, and now I’ve returned full circle.
Well firstly the bottle is tiny and almost weightless. You expect to feel SOMETHING and wonder how much product is stored inside. The brush is, as expected, tiny too but easy to grip and soft enough to maintain steady control. I think this liner will be very easy to use for more elaborate eyelining make-up (thick flicks, etc) than other variations because it flows smoothly.
This liquid liner is very pigmented and has a wet look shine finish. I found it very easy to apply a perfect line too. It stayed on my lids from morning until I removed it at midnight, and it drew (good pun!) a lot of compliments. It’s quite the little gem to slip into your make-up bag and only £3.99.
